How watching works
Twitch and YouTube broadcasts play here when the streamer allows embedding. Discord channels with a broadcaster-provided relay play here while that broadcast is running. Other Discord Go Live screen shares open in Discord and require server access. Relays are started separately by a broadcaster; Discord status does not confirm their video is running. Links shared in Discord are labeled as announcements; a shared link alone does not confirm that someone is live.
